Michal Matejka is a guitarist and music teacher. He plays in the bands Ankram, Škvíra and Spoje, the Prague Improvisation Orchestra, and the improvisational trio Kordík/Matejka/Tóth, where he explores the possibilities and extended techniques of electric guitar, free improvisation, and contemporary songwriting. He occasionally collaborates with Miro Tóth on his projects, Dan Matej and VENI, Cluster ensemble, and others. In addition to the aforementioned, he also plays in the swing orchestra FatsJazzBand.
