Barbora Tomášková (SK)

Barbora Tomášková is a composer and performer who combines classical instruments, DIY objects, and live electronics. Her works have been presented at prestigious festivals such as Prague Spring, World New Music Days, Konvergencie, and NEXT, and she has collaborated with renowned ensembles including Klangforum Wien, Ensemble Modern, and VENI ensemble. She is currently preparing a piece for Ensemble Modern commissioned by the 2025 Prague Spring Festival and completing music for several theatre and multimedia projects. In 2024, she released the album Z DNA on Next Festival Records.
