Erika Coyle is a teacher, pianist, and improviser. She completed her doctoral studies at Comenius University with a dissertation on graphic scores in music education. In her pedagogical practice, she focuses on innovative methods and contemporary art, and has worked in the programs Superar, Šťastné deti (Happy Kids), as well as in the Školský klub (School Club) project broadcast on RTVS. As a performer and an improviser, she has collaborated with ensembles such as VENI Academy, SWAG ensemble, and the Bratislava Improvisation Orchestra, and she is the founder of the Experimental Ensemble Bratislava. In 2021, she completed an artistic residency in Reykjavík, and she regularly leads music workshops at festivals such as Pohoda and Lidožúr.
