Till Bovermann (1979), also known as LFSaw, is a sound artist and researcher based in Berlin who explores the inherently complex relationships that shape the world. His primary working material consists of field recordings, which he combines with live coding and interactive sound programming. This gives rise to immersive soundscapes that stimulate inner reflection.

He is a professor of sound art at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater München, where he teaches sound art, creative programming, and artistic research. He is a co-founder of the company plonk and a member of the artistic collectives friendly.organisms and wait and hear. In addition to his artistic and academic work, he develops software using SuperCollider, Python, and Faust.

Infrastructure is designed to remain invisible – we only notice it when it fails. Yet these hidden systems, which enable the functioning of our daily lives, possess rich sonic identities. Till Bovermann’s performance Sounding Infrastructures – Trenčín makes perceptible what is meant to remain unnoticed: the hum of turbines, the resonance of concrete structures, the vibrations of energy conversion. Through field recordings of urban infrastructure, the work creates an immersive sound environment in which the acoustic signatures of the infrastructure are transformed into a physical experience, revealing the material presence of the systems on which we depend but rarely perceive.
